BEL Valves, a global leader in high-performance valve solutions for the energy sector, is proudly celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.

BEL Valves was founded in 1964 to design and manufacture high-pressure and high-temperature valves for the petrochemical industry.

Today, the company is a key global supplier to the oil and gas industry and continues to lead the way in innovative engineering and customer service.

After completing its first overseas project in 1970, BEL Valves expanded into the oil and gas sector in the 1980s, installing its first subsea valve in the North Sea. The company continued to introduce cutting-edge technology, from the first high integrity pipeline protection system (HIPPS) valves and actuators, to large bore through conduit gate valves designs in 1990, to its advanced solutions today.

For six decades, BEL Valves has led the way in valve design and manufacturing, offering bespoke solutions for offshore, onshore and subsea applications, with an installed base of over 70,000 valves and 12,000 valves subsea, in more than 60 countries worldwide.

BEL Valves has achieved various milestones, including the design and manufacture of the company’s first subsea electric actuator (SEA), and the manufacture of its largest gate valve, which had a bore size of 56 inches.
