Congratulations to our employees who were honoured at the British Engines Group Beyond Awards 2024, celebrating milestones and achievements.

The awards acknowledge the accomplishments of apprentices, alongside employees achieving significant milestones for 25, 35, 40 and 45 years at businesses across the British Engines Group.

During the evening, guest speaker, John Beresford MBE, shared stories from his career as a left-back with Newcastle United as part of the legendary ‘Entertainers’ team. His insights and jokes brought excitement to the evening, especially for the Newcastle United fans in attendance!

The evening recognised apprentices Ryan Esslemont, Matthew Craig and Luke Thompson for excelling in their training and college work.

Ryan, Engineering Design Apprentice, received a 2nd Year Apprentice Award for demonstrating a high aptitude for learning both by receiving distinctions in his college assignments and by picking up business systems such as CAD software and CAD management systems.

Matthew, Technician Apprentice, received a 2nd Year Apprentice Award for excelling throughout the whole of the operations area, showing great versatility across the business.

Luke, HSE Apprentice, received a 3rd Year Apprentice Award for actively seeking solutions to problems, applying lessons learned to future projects and tasks and consistently approaching all challenges with a great attitude.

Well done to all of our apprentice winners for these great achievements!
